Contraindications for Spinal Energetics

In some cases I can work with some contraindications upon case by case approval. Please communicate with me directly if you are wanting to ask about possible approval.

  1. Spinal Energetics is not suitable for children under 12 year old or people over 75 years of age. 13-18 year olds should be in the presence of a guardian and extra caution should be taken for seniors.

  2. Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)

  3. Currently taking medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic, ADHD medication) *This must be communicated and approved by the practitioner before proceeding.

  4. Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries

  5. Epilepsy

  6. The first and final trimester of pregnancy, and 3 months post partum

  7. History or diagnosis of aneurysms

  8. Cardiovascular problems

  9. History of seizures

  10. Severe Asthma

  11. Heart disease

  12. Heart conditions

  13. Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition, or emotional crisis within the past three years

  14. Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.

  15. Illicit substances or plant medicines at the time of session.

  16. Failure to disclose any mental and/or physical health information before proceeding will be at the clients own risk
